Annotation: The problems of the energy effectiveness of a city heat supply, typical abstracts of introducing energy efficient technologies into the heat supply are given. The leading role of the government to organize conditions of realization energy sawing with the help of normative and legislative mechanisms of stimulation, price setting, accounting, control, financing is determined. Environmental protection is determined. The necessity of system and complex approaches to solve the energy efficiency problem in the city heat supply is stressed.
