Mechanisms of a financial support of a housing construction strategy

Annotation: The article is devoted to an analysis of the state of the problem of financing housing construction. There are considered such reasons of a poor state of the housing market as a lack of budgetary financing of housing construction observed against a background of a constant increase of a building volume; a time lag in running the programs of housing construction; objectively growing demands of the population to consumer qualities of the housing under construction and reconstruction; a permanent increase of budgetary costs on the development of the social and engineering infrastructure at the construction of business buildings. There was determined a role of the government management when solving the problem of providing Ukrainian people with dwellings. There is also considered a foreign practice of solving the problem of a financial support of the housing construction strategy that is now in the process of formation. A conclusion on appropriateness of solving the problems of financing the housing construction through the mortgage lending mechanism has been done.
