Annotation: The article is devoted to the state part in the of creation and operation of small business and business associations of the Czech Republic, the role of small and average enterprises for the Czech Republic economies, the structure of private buisinessman in the Czech Republic for 12 years, the existing infrastructure of a small business support. There was also considered of the business associations activity of the Czech Republic on the example of the Association of small and average enterprises and small businessman and its contribution into the development of small business of the Czech Republic, namely, directions and principles of the Association operation, rights and duties of the Association members, attitude to the environment for a stable and favourable further development of small and average business and their competitiveness increasing. There have been revealed the largest problems of small business development in the Czech Republic in comparison wiht Ukraine. On the base of the examined problems of the development of the small business sector of the Czech Republic there was revealed strength of the businessman activity and its using for Ukraine has been suggested.
