Tendencies and prospects of market of housing and communal services of Ukraine development

Annotation: The article considers the nature of housing and communal services, investigate the status and features of the functioning of the market for housing and communal services, trends and prospects for its development. It is proved that the study of markets should be done in the context of individual markets (housing and communal services enterprises), rather than as a whole at the regional level, district and city. Identifies key challenges of the domestic market housing and communal services, which include inadequate regulatory framework, inefficient system of enterprise management utilities, failure of infrastructure capacity requirements of consumers, high levels of depreciation of fixed assets in enterprises of the industry and the obsolescence of technologies that are now used. Based on these studies generated recommendations for the development of the market for housing and communal services.
