Objective causes of ukrainian old industrial regions’ restructuring

Annotation: Heavy industry is the leading sector of Ukrainian national economy. Traditionally the heavy industry ensures Gross Domestic Product. Heavy industry was always the basis of economic stability and power of the State. However, in terms of the world financial and economic crisis the heavy industry of Ukraine considerably suffered. Production was reduced. Prices fell down in several times. Enterprises of the heavy industry face the absence of orders and necessity to reduce prices. The state help and restructuring of production are actual ways out of the crisis for old industrial regions of Ukraine.
