Theoretical basics of resources of local government

Annotation: The article has determined the role of resources in the effective operation and development of local self-government, studied modern approaches to the definition of local resources, and a classification of local government resources. The role of local government resources in the efficient functioning of local government has been determined. Definition of “local resources” and “resources of local government” has been suggested. The requirements of the local government resources development have been summarized in the article. The actual problems of formation of development resources have been uncovered and the ways of improving the effectiveness of local government through rational development of local resources have been suggested.
