Effective use of resources as a condition for sustainable development of the building trade

Annotation: The article analyzes the status and opportunities for effective use of the available resource base in order to ensure sustainable development of the building in Ukraine in the current economic conditions. The author presents definition of the concept of «sustainable development in building», its purpose and role of investment-building complex in providing the foundation for sustainable development of the economy. The basic competitive advantages of native building trade, peculiarities of the use of material-technical, human, financial and natural resources are singled out, and the values of the corresponding quantitative indicators are also calculated. Due to their analysis in the dynamics, the corresponding trends and the main problems in achieving sustainable development in building. As a result of conducted investigations there were revealed the conditions and the potential opportunities for increasing efficiency of the building trade directed into the assurance sustainable development.
