Annotation: The article deals with the state of the scope of landscaping modern cities and found negative changes, the reasons are not the effectiveness of the existing management system of green area of the city. The signs of urban spaces have been given. The existing system of urban greening planning as an active instrument of its management has been considered. The problem of forming a modern green city, caused by both human activities and ungrounded methods of management, has been formulated. The classification of negative factors of influence on the development of urban greening, having the distribution of natural and non-natural character, has been given. On the basis of the classification, regular succession of control of queue factors of influence on the development of urban greening, has been grounded. Considering the main goal of management of modern urban greening sphere, creation of favorable conditions for human life, it has been suggested to use the current financing mechanism and prevent threats.
