The Main Components of the Social Policy of the Modern State

Annotation: In the article, using the methods of expert assessments, analysis, comparison, the components of the state social policy are considered, which include indicators of the level and quality of life of the population. The components of these indicators were studied. Examples of legislative consolidation of these indicators in the Russian Federation and Ukraine are given. The index of human development as an integral indicator of the level and quality of life is considered. A conclusion is drawn about the importance of calculating these indices.It is concluded that the indicators of the level and quality of life of the population of the state – are components for assessing the effectiveness of the state of social policy. These indicators should become the main indicators in assessing the welfare of modern society.
