Problems of Diagnostics of Socio-Economic Potential of the Enterprise

Annotation: This article analyzes current approaches to diagnosing the socio-economic potential of enterprises from the point of view of various authors. Methods for assessing the potential of enterprises on the basis of the quantitative identification of its social and economic components, a precedent approach, a VRIO analysis, and the calculation of partial and integral indicators are considered. The essence and structural elements of the socio-economic potential of enterprises are identified. The basic principles of socio-economic potential diagnostics are formulated, following which will allow the management of business entities to obtain comprehensive conclusions regarding the level of potential development in comparison with the level of potential development of competing enterprises, to identify the most vulnerable components of the potential in order to identify activities that require the development and implementation of corrective measures. The main stages of diagnostics of the socio-economic potential of enterprises are highlighted.
