Macroeconomic Researches of Competitiveness of Human Resources

Abstract: The article considers the essence of the concept of «competitiveness», defines three levels of its manifestation, namely, individual, microeconomic or collective, and macroeconomic or social. The dependence of the competitiveness of human resources at each level on the external environment is noted. It is substantiated that the macroeconomic one is the fundamental level of ensuring the competitiveness of human resources, in connection with which it was proposed to determine it by the ratio of the total number of competitive human resources suitable in their parameters for competition in the country to the sum of all other resources. The results revealed that it is practically impossible to achieve significant shifts in increasing the country’s competitiveness without a sound national economic development strategy for all spheres of the population’s life, therefore, the state should form a physically healthy, educated and morally strong population that will be competitive with any global changes.
