Abstract: The need to use energy-saving technologies in the field of housing and communal services is justified in the article. This allows to reduce the amount of energy consumed, and improve the environmental situation in the region. It has been proven that the most relevant is the use of energy-saving materials and technologies precisely at the stage of repair and restoration work of all kinds (overhaul, reconstruction, modernization of the housing stock). A number of measures that can improve the energy efficiency of capital repairs of the housing stock are proposed in the work. The need to determine the economic effect of the implementation of energy-saving technologies during capital repairs for direct consumers and for the municipality is noted. The appropriateness of the distribution of financing energy-saving measures for all participants in the overhaul of residential buildings is justified in the article.
