Subjective Assessment of Quality of Life as a Tool for Change Management in the Economic System

Annotation: The possibility of solving tasks related to assessing the quality of life in the Donetsk People’s Republic is limited by the impossibility of using sufficient statistical information. This predetermines the need to form new scientific and methodological approaches based on the use of subjective assessments. This paper substantiates the expediency of formation of scientific-methodical approach to assessment of living conditions of the society, which determines its quality of life, and presents the content of such an approach based on the operation of subjective estimates. The paper presents the results of applying this approach to assessment of conditions determining the quality of life in the Donetsk People’s Republic and formed as a result of functioning of subjects of the system of life quality change, namely, representatives of society, public authorities, business representatives, institutional investors, non-profit organizations, entities that functionally provide normal vital activity of the population.
