Development of the Information Society in Modern Conditions

Abstract: Now a difficult situation has arisen in the world when humanity has accumulated a huge information potential, but cannot fully use it. The rapid growth of information flows began to be especially felt in the middle of the 20th century, when information appears in a new flow every day. It became more and more difficult to navigate, the person felt his own impotence to perceive the information in full. Under certain conditions, it has become more profitable to create new material or intellectual products than to find previously created ones. The information crisis has forced the current society to look for ways out of this situation. The introduction of modern means of creating, processing and transmitting information to various spheres of life marked the beginning of a new evolutionary process, which is called informatization. The process of development of the information society, the informatization of all its spheres is a rather urgent problem. That is why the study of the problems of formation of patterns of development of information resources and their further implementation will greatly facilitate all spheres of human activity.
