Determining Prospective Directions of State Support for «Green Construction»

Abstract: The relevance of energy and resource conservation issues in all areas of the national economy is growing every day. The level of energy consumption and energy costs has now reached critical levels, and according to forecasts from world experts, it will only increase in the near future. The current situation undoubtedly requires urgent intervention. One of the effective tools for energy and resource conservation in the housing sector with appropriate government support can be «green» construction. The article considers the essence and main characteristics of «green» construction. The role and place of «green» construction in the closed-loop economy are determined. The world experience of using secondary materials in housing construction, the features of legislative and financial support for environmentally friendly construction are considered. The main directions of state support for «green» construction in domestic practice are substantiated.
