Analysis of Modern Trends in the Development of Industrial Enterprises of the DPR: Features and Key Problems of Business Process Managemen
Abstract: The article analyzes modern trends in the development of industrial enterprises in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). It has been established that industrial enterprises continue to form the basis of the DPR economic system. They account for about 63 % of the total sales volume of products in all sectors of the economy. In 2022, the volume of industrial products sold increased by 18.9 % compared to 2021 due to positive dynamics in the processing industry, which recorded an increase of 33.3 %. However, positive shifts in the development of industrial enterprises of the DPR Republic have not acquired a sustainable trend and are not associated with systemic changes in the industry. Based on the questionnaire, 8 industrial enterprises of the DPR were diagnosed for key types of economic activity, and the features and problems of business process management were identified. It was determined that at most of the surveyed enterprises, business processes are not described or regulated, management is often carried out manually, the outsourcing potential is used inefficiently, there is no consistency in decision-making, and modern corporate digital solutions have not been implemented. The current situation determines the need to develop a comprehensive mechanism for managing business processes in the context of digitalization.
