Annotation: The purpose, task and maintenance of the process of monitoring strategy realization of socio-economic development of Makiyivka are considered. It is possible to carry out the monitoring due to creation of information-coordination management that must provide connections between the participants of strategy realization. The place of economic diagnostics in adjustment of strategic aims of the city development is determined.
