Problems of interaction between the local government and the public

Annotation: The article is about the research into efficiency of the interaction between the local government and the public. There are considered the results of questioning workers of Makeyevka city council. The interaction between the local government and the public is considered not to be efficient enough now, but in the future it will increase. According to the opinion of those questioned self organisation committees of population are the most active one in the town of Makeyevka. A low efficiency of the consulting public committees is noted. There are suggested some measures to increase the efficiency of interaction between the local government, public organizations, and members of a territorial community. The basic direction is activization of the territorial community members groups joined to decision making of Makeyevka city council. There is a need to report about both the results of local governments work and the questions which are to be discussed. Another important aspect to increase the efficiency of this cooperation is an establishment of an effective feedback mechanism.
