Publishing activities at the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture are carried out by the Publishing House.
The publication of printed materials at the Academy began in 1993. In 1994, an advertising and publishing sector was established within the international relations department, which was reorganized into an independent unit, the editorial and publishing department, in February 2003. As a result of the reorganization of the editorial and publishing department in 2008, the DonNACEA Publishing Center was created. In February 2024, due to the reorganization of the Academy’s structure, the Publishing Center was renamed the Publishing House.
In 1995, the first scientific periodical of DonNACEA, “Bulletin of the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture,” was launched. Currently, issues of this publication are released six times a year.
In 2005, the first issues of the journals “Modern Industrial and Civil Construction” and “Economics of Civil Engineering and Municipal Economy” were registered and published. Since 2006, the publication frequency of these journals has been increased to four issues per year.
Since 2017, the journals “Metal Constructions”, “Modern Industrial and Civil Construction”, “Economics of Civil Engineering and Municipal Economy” and “Bulletin of the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture” have been issued as network editions. In the same year, the Academy became the founder and publisher of the print edition “The Donbas Contructor”.
The journals “Metal Constructions”, “Modern Industrial and Civil Construction” and “Economics of Civil Engineering and Municipal Economy” have been brought into compliance with citation index requirements. Information about these journals is available in the UlrichsWeb database and is updated annually in the IndexCopernicus database. Article abstracts are included in the international construction database ICONDA. Full-text articles are published on the websites of the DonNACEA online journals, in the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RSCI), IPRbooks, IndexCopernicus, and the Google Scholar search engine.
In 2023, new domain names metal-constructions.ru, spigs.ru, esigh.ru, and vestnik-donnasa.ru were registered for the network editions. Subsequently, they were registered as media outlets by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor).
In 2024, four online scientific journals and one print journal of DonNACEA were submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science for inclusion in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation (VAK RF).
