Resources of modern city: intellectual potential
Abstract: Modern human society lives in a period, characterized the huge increase of volumes of intellectual labour in all of spheres of activity, beginning from pedagogical and concluding economic. Everybody is constantly engaged in one or another labour processes, labour activity. But if there is activity, but there is not included of intellect is the regulated labour, but if an intellect is present, labour becomes an innovation, creative or intellectual. Intellectual potential of society, territories are potential (that, possibly, yet not актуализированная presently) ability of man quickly and exactly to decide difficult mental tasks. Intellectual potential is provided by the high rate of teaching new knowledges, intellectual skills and abilities. But it is necessary to take into account that high intellectual potential does not guarantee the high performance of worker without the specialized studies (or self-training in the process of work). A problem of intellectual potential in development of professional structure of city is a problem of forming of mechanism of his effective growth in modern terms. A criterion of efficiency is direction of this growth, which answers the increase of competitiveness of country, forming of economy of постиндустриального type, employment of front-rank positions in the global division of labor.
