Determinants of structural imbalances in the economy and managerial-instrumental mechanism of their settlement

Annotation: The overall quality of the characteristic of the economic system serves dynamics sectoral structure of the national economy. The changes in the sectoral structure of the economy on various grounds during the years 1990–2012 were examined, as well as identified the determinants of a destructive nature that hindered the socio-economic dynamic from the positions of emergence and development of the welfare state. Attention was focused on the methodological aspects of establishing the degree of progressivity of structural changes and how to make structuring processes manageable. It is proposed to radically change the mechanism of formation of structural policy priorities which should be determined on the basis of long-and medium-term foundations of socio-economic development.
