Monitoring as a Key Component of an Indicative Management Development of the Regions

Annotation: It has been improved the approach to monitoring of the development of territories, the purpose of which is to identify undesirable situations in the socio-economic dynamics, development and implementation of response to crisis situations. The proposed approach involves the continuous monitoring of key indicators and not regular assessment intervals in time, the traditional currently used forms of organization of control over the socio-economic dynamics; the use of cycle «assessment – identification – analysis – informing – the development of reaction» that identifies the key steps taken at each stage from detection of abnormalities to the development of management decisions; the integration of monitoring procedures with information systems in the form of workstations.
