Annotation: In modern unstable conditions of development of the functioning of housing and communal services, it is necessary to improve the mechanism for managing enterprises in the sector. The organizational and economic mechanism of management of utilities is considered. The organizational and economic mechanism of enterprise management is a complex system combining a set of measures of impact and means of evaluation of various aspects of its activities aimed at achieving the goals and implementation of the tasks of the enterprise. The study of the organizational and economic mechanism of enterprise management shows that it is part of a general management mechanism responsible for its competitive, long-term development.
