Annotation: The article considers the essence, indicators and directions of evaluation of financial and economic activities, indicators of financial results (income). The interdependence of financial results from profits and profitability is shown. Studied the course of the economic research and its objectives for various recipients of information. The main sources of information for obtaining data during economic research of financial and economic activity of the enterprise are given. It has been determined that the effectiveness of economic consideration directly depends on the comprehensiveness and quality of the information used. The essence and types of income of the enterprise are considered. Considered in what is expressed the financial result of the company, namely the manifestation of the financial result of the company in the ability of a particular company. The value of economic information is considered in three aspects, such as: consumer, sources of accounting and non-accounting nature of the source of data. Considered information defining changes in the external sphere of the company. The dependence of the results of the economic activity of the enterprise on the administrative decisions taken is substantiated.
