Theoretical Foundations of Strategic Planning at the Enterprise

Annotation: The article clarifies the concept of strategic planning, defines its main components, shows the relevance and necessity of strategic planning for the development of an enterprise. The necessity of strategic planning is due to the transition to a new model of enterprise development under conditions of uncertainty and risk. The instability of the external environment increased the probability and unpredictability of sudden strategic changes, expenses of making the wrong strategic choice has risen. The main stages of the formation of a strategic plan for the development of an enterprise are considered. The main problems of strategic planning application are revealed, methods of its improvement are formulated. Strategic planning is the main factor in the activity of an enterprise, which makes possible to carry out an interconnected and more targeted management of all types of resources, to reduce material, labor and financial losses in achieving the set goals.
