Increasing the Efficiency of Construction Waste Recycling in the Context of Transition to a Circular Economy
Abstract: The problem of accumulation of various types of waste is extremely relevant at the present time. The lack of effective organizational and economic mechanisms for the disposal of household, industrial, construction and other types of waste leads to environmental pollution and a decrease in the quality of life of the population. Under the current conditions, the existing «garbage» problem can be solved by implementing the principles of a circular economy. The article presents the classification of construction waste; the main economic benefits from their recycling are formulated. The need to use an integrated approach to construction waste management, including measures to reduce the amount of waste, starting with sorting directly at the construction site, is substantiated. The main options for processing construction waste in the context of the formation of a circular economy are systematized.
