Ways of press service originating at universities
Abstract: The paper deals with problem of the press service originating at universities, including its functions. The author has distinguished the principle press service activities of a university via realization of which the University promotion has been planned like a brand, the press service activity purposes, principle functional trends, employed methods and basic processes have been exposed. The target audiences which the officers of Universities press service have to communicate with permanently have been distinguished, providing the positive information income to the interested people by means of mass media. The effective system of interaction of the University press service with mass media enabling to widespread of mistaken, untimely and incorrect data of a University is noteworthy. The problems of testing, advertisement and advertisement messages efficacy of a University and its feedback have been considered in the paper.
